Thankfully Carlos doesn’t act like any of those ATP guys who date models and influencers. I’m saying that as his fan. He seems much more down to earth, secure, and comfortable in his own skin.

honestly ppl were joking him following linfluencers and hot models a lot on social media and liking their posts a lot for a very long time. boys can be very well in all aspects that doesn't mean he's not like the other man in girls especially male athletes. the dating rumors doesn't come out for no reason like the old saying no smoke without fire, and you can check his camp reply on the dating rumors, they make sure he's not dating right now and wouldn't consider any serious relationship currently but they do admit carlos and the model are in touch though what kind of touch we don't know.
actually I met zevrev in person, he's so nice and humble, well behaved, sighed balls till the very end, taking pictures with each person nicely, and he's got good reputation on atp side, however he's a scumbag with girls. I'm not saying carlos would be like that, not only the atp side but the history cases about male athletes told us never trust any male athletes. and emma got a strict Chinese mom, carlos himself said he's a nightclub boy and now scandals with sexy models, he got no chance there.
I want take another point, carlos and sinner are the most high profiled and marketable tennis players right now, what they do on and off court definitely affect their image, like jannik has dated so many influencers, hot models but he just gone PDA only with anna Kalinskaya, also carlos camp would love to see carlos tag along with emma not other influencers or hot models, cos these 2 girls definitely help built their off court image.

In defence of Jannik Sinner, he has only dated one influencer/model who he was with for 4 years (from the age of 18) before dating Kalinskaya. Can't speak to his relationship status now.

I only know Brooks Nader (Carlos's rumoured gf) by name and know little about her. I don't really believe they are together. Now gossip sites are saying she dated both Jannik and Carlos. I think she's just looking for publicity.

They seem to be missing the main point- Emma skipped BJKC so she could train with her coach, so that they could make some progress and make a decision about next year. She will want to impress Roig if she wants him to stay and she'll want to see real progress in Asia. And also get seeded for the AO. At least that was always my interpretation.

If there wasn't this coach issue then I would agree with them. I'm not surprised they are disappointed if they think she skipped BJKC just so she could play Seoul for an appearance fee, that would indeed be disappointing. But that's not the case.

Having said that, a written explanation from Emma would have helped.

The only thing I wondered about this whole controversy was whether Emma herself called Anne and explained her decision. I am sure it would have been tough/awkward for Emma, But Anne, the captain of the GB team would have deserved that much courtesy from Emma. However, I doubt very much she did that, based on how Emma has handled other delicate situations in the past. Anyway, Emma made the right decision imo, and as I said before, she will have many chances to represent GB.

She has never explained any decision publicly. I find their attack annoying. I seriously doubt it was about the appearance fee. Otherwise she would never have signed up for the BJK Cup in the first place. They can sound very smug for people who’ve never been in her position.

I would think she called Anne- she called Andy Murray for a similar drop out. But it's not my business who she called or didn't call. I just think she could have made a post about it to explain her situation so that some in the media are not going around with what I believe are the wrong assumptions, thinking she did this for money. She's not good at public relations unfortunately- we learned this in Sept '21, lol.
