Race is starting to solidify....

1 Sabalenka 7395

2 Swiatek 5983

3 Gauff 4609
4 Keys 4105
5 Andreeva 4024

6 Anisimova 3453
7 Pegula 3300

Paolini 2736
Rybakina 2536
Svitolina 2371
Alexandrova 2188
Navarro 2176
Bencic 2084
Tauson 1981
Samsonova 1889

Zheng 1663
Mertens 1652
Ostapenko 1612
Badosa 1611

the real race might be for 8th spot and Pegula + Anisimova ensuring they don't slip out

Re: Race, it feels like the top 7 are pretty much guaranteed - Pegula I am sure makes it in, we're entering her favourite time of year; Anisimova is I guess a slight doubt, let's see how she recovers from the final.

In terms of 8th place, it's really all to play for. Doubt Jasmine makes it in; Rybakina... who knows. Svitolina is consistent and she'll probably vulture a couple of 250s along the way. Can definitely see Zheng (or even Navarro) surging to clinch that spot.

Ryba is now in SF in Montreal and could move up past Anisimova with a win. Svito and Tauson are in QF and can move up past Pegula and Paolini respectively.

It will all come down to the Asian swing. I would love a tight race like when Garcia snatched that last spot from Konta in 2017.
who do you want Garcia and Konta to be in 2025, someone snatching the last spot from another?

Zheng is out with her injury and Navarro hasn’t been playing well as of late IMO

6-8 comes down to Rybakina; Svitolina, Paolini, Tauson, Anisimova, Pegula

I think six players have basically secured their spot, unless something drastic happens at the US Open or in Beijing/Wuhan.
I would say that the top 5 are 100% safe by now, and no. 6 Anisimova is 90% safe. Between Anisimova and no. 9 Paolini, there is a huge gap of 800 points. It would be virtually impossible for Amanda not to qualify, unless she gets injured or loses in the early rounds in all of the next four tournaments.
Pegula, Rybakina, Paolini, Svitolina, and Tauson will compete for spots No. 7 and No. 8, with Pegula and Rybakina currently holding a clear lead.

Don't forget someone currently low could win USO and take the 8th spot
