Bibi's toughest opponent in her earlier rounds. I guess if Bibi wants to show her clay-court prowess, getting a solid win here will be a good first step! Zidansek definitely has a solid shot to win as Andreescu lacks WTA experience on this surface.

Speaking of Tamara Zidansek: Why has Tamira Paszek (whose name is rather similar, that's why) vanished from the circuit??

 

She had health issue(chronical pain disorder).

She's back on court as she's playing on the ITF tour since the restart she won few matches in W15 .

Zidanzek can be good on clay and did took a set from Barty but she also got straight setted by Pera and Sasnovich on clay since that, and on a clay that plays more like RG than Madrid. So...

 

Match against Sasnovich was indoors. Against Pera she did look out of sorts though, but peaking bashers will always be her weak spot.

 

Zidanzek has won quite a few games on clay recently. Just recently in Madrid she played a tough 3 setter against Ash Barty.
This is not going to be a cakewalk for Bianca.

 

Andreescu in 3 or she withdraws from the tournament...

 

It will probably be 'Tamara by retirement', that's if Bianca even plays!

There is no reason why Tamara cannot give bianca a tough match. I remember serena's tough match against her in Australia, serena's serve prevented a lot of long rallies , bianca does not have that luxury.

 

With teared ab just few days back I expect her to retire sooner or later.

Bianca is pissed is just too good for the solid Zidansek....she is punching above her weight class. Andreescu shreds her in 2.

 

It will surely go to 3 either way, if I had to guess I'd say Bianca should pull through

Pretty tough R1 and an even tougher R3 looming, where she's bound to meet the most in form out of 4 really dangerous players.

 

She will retire again like she did in RG 2019, unfortunately. Typical Bianca. 😌
