One is calling people disrespectful and questioning her fan base out of no where.

One retiring being not injured, went on questioning her opponent's sincerity about her fake injury

One is crying about line calls's fault for losing matches this whole year.

I am not going to name names because I am being respectful, they should really reflect on themselves.

Respectfully, I'm a Canadian who has watched the Winter Games since 1988. I've seen poor sportsmaship in U.S. athletes in those Games to the point where their bronze medal winners pull them off and throw them on the ground. I'm wondering if U.S. athletes are somehow being taught to believe that only gold matters? All other countries celebrate silver and bronze medals. Just a thought.

Because America has to "win" the Olympics. It's not about your individual performance, it's about your dignity and responsibility to your country.

The media and officials have made a terrific job in the past 2 decades to convince the normal people, that Russia, China etc. are targeting the Olympics for propaganda and self serving, while the US are just the same. If they don't win, then the other must be cheating. All their athletes are raised, as if they are the best and if they lose, then there has to be some outside reason..

Regardless of that, these were regular WTA Tour pros, playing on the red clay at Roland Garros where no American has won the singles title since Serena (and she "only" won 3 titles here). Only Coco would have had any expectations of a singles medal. Having a Stars & Stripes flag on their outfit doesn't alter the odds or expectations.

Collins has been injured - she just wanted to play doubles, without realizing that she will look like a total hypocrite. And I'm not her fan.

I was not surprised, because it wasn't the first Gauff's tantrums or meltdowns or whatever you wanna call it [in Polish there's good phrase for that: odstawiać cyrk (to do circus)]. Hopefully she will mature and stop that circus (yeah), because she's embarrassing herself.

I'm mostly disappointed with Emma. Shame.
