I would love to see an up and coming Aussie player work with him, Sanders would be good!
But like you mentioned, he wouldn't come cheap and that's if Craig is willing to coach another player, after how close he was (and probably still is) with Ash.

 

I’d love to see what he (and all of Ash’s team) could do with Destanee…but that’s not going to happen.

 

Yeah, that would be ideal, or basically any good coach and physical trainer. She should be a solid top 100 player by now.

That is what I was thinking too, Australian Tennis need some fresh blood in the coaching department. It says it all when David Taylor coached Molik, Stosur and last I checked he's onto Gadecki, it legit like they dont have anyone else to coach their most promising players...

Rybakina would be my choice, she needs a good coach and I believe they’d get a lot out of each other.

Possibly someone already with lots of variety in their game (Jabeur, Muchova), or a youngster showing the potential to do that, but requires plenty of fine-tuning.

Or he may fancy an entirely new challenge and coach someone with a different gamestyle.

He has apparently coached an ATP player in the past, so for all we know he might jump to ATP next.

Yeah, because Ash, a talent one in a million, is easily replicable on any other player.

 

And because of that Craig should probably wait a few more years to meet another a talent one in a billion.

Isn't he in his 60s? He won't bother with a top 150 player after all the highs he experienced with Barty.

It's either retirement or a super coach type of thing with de Minaur or Kokkinakis.

poor work ethic
whining
athlete who can't focus when it matters
social media content over results
drama
ego
gamesmanship

.... I'm gonna guess nobody.

Ash asked him to coach her when she returned after cricket, apparently walked into his office at Tennis Australia and hit him up. I don't see him going international. I would like him to work with these young aussie girls Lily Taylor, Taylah Preston or the more established jaimee, destanee, olivia. There seems to be a problem in TA where these girls can't break into the top 100. Time to open the purse TA!
