Iga would rather play Kasatkina, who wins this? Only 3 wins from a 6th major

She certainly knows how to beat Gauff.

Humbled her in last two majors.

I can see her doing it again if she gets through 1ga.

Navarro might be the first real opponent (kind of) for Iga but I really don´t see how the second Emma can trouble her. Playing smart and grinding via will power are not enough. Only big hitters with some varieties like Saba and Ryba can give Iga headaches.

By the way, Navarro has a Federer-like presence on court.
Who has straight setted her the last two times they played.

People are too sure of an Iga win. Yes she has been cruising' but her opponents haven't really put up much resistance' and Navarro is no slouch. When one looks at some of Świątek's hardcourt slam runs in recent years' a pattern emerges of her winning smoothly before running into a wall vs opponents closer to her own league' oftentimes struggling internally. Yes she is far fresher and Emma hasn't been convincing' so she still has more arguments on her side' but it depends more on her headspace now. If she starts feeling the pressure' then I won't be surprised some of her redlining shots that have been going in all week start missing and a canny competitor in Navarro takes advantage. All in all' a big test for whether Fissette has managed to right the ship when it comes to mental approach.

Haters as usual spitting nonsense about alleged Iga's cup cake draw but let's see who the top seeds are facing in the QFs:

Iga - seed 8 up and coming young player
Saba - running on fumes 33yo veteran seed 27
Gauff - notoriously back-injured seed 11

But I guess you can't buy a brain, can you?

Do you really think facing Raducanu, Lys, and Navarro is tougher than Tauson, Andreeva, and Pavs, or Fernandez, Bencic, and Badosa? Keeping in mind the form and health of those opponents coming into the tournament, and how they’ve played so far. Would you rather Iga had either Aryna or Coco’s draws? 👀

In the past, you were always the first to call out a Sabs cakewalk so curious why it’s hard for you to do so here—Iga’s draw is an absolute joke, and that’s OK

Do they have another QF session at 7pm for the bottom half of the draw or do they start a bit earlier due to SF match being played the following day, which is in the night session? Anyways Iga will most likely play 2nd QF on Rod Laver and if she faces Keys in SF, I don't think Keys will adjust well from day to night session from what I saw from her at USO last year where that scenario happened.
