Everyone thinks she will still play? Any news she is in New York?

 

Not sure whether she will play but if she does it is going to be a disaster (quality wise). But oh well, we will be there for her, like always.

 

Haven't heard anyone got in NYC as yet in terms of practicing though they should considering most are not playing this week.

 

Training in New York started yesterday. Rafa and Murray are there, for example.
I hope Maria will play.

Tbh, I don't see her withdrawing. She won't want to embarrass the US Open (and herself), so she will definitely play even if she feels some pain.

Just get on Arthur Ashe to practice already I will not stop worrying until I see her practice at the USO. I know it's not certain that she will play even if she practices there, but at least she has to get into the practice court first. Or else it will become just like Cincy, no practice and then withdrawing of course.

 

Even if she shows up to practice doesn't mean she'll play. So don't get your hopes up. She did that twice before!

 

For now I'm staying optimistic that the WC means that the USTA got some information from her that she'll be fit to play.

She's on the practice schedule again!

 

Does she get to practice on AA? I wasn't sure how practice schedules work for people with low rankings, but I would think for example a current Top 10 player would get priority with 128 players in the draw on each side.

 

Maria will always get Centre Court for every tournament over any other female players, even if it's just practice. If she wants to be there to practice, she will get that slot no matter what her ranking is.

 

I think she will gets Stephens for R1

Yes that schedule is correct. That is the practice schedule on Armstrong. I did see it on the USO website. But they just somehow deleted the entire schedule for that court.

 

Okay that makes sense. Because earlier today, she was on the app for Armstrong.
