I saw the Williams True Hollywood Story on E!

Rick Macci brought the whole family to Florida and payed for everything and taught the girls at his tennis camp but in return he was supposed to get some of their prize money when they made it big. Well when the sisters got their endorsements, what did the Williams family do? Thank Rick for getting to where they are? NO they threw Rick out onto the curb. Rick settled instead of suing but he got way less money that he was supposed to from the original contract.

Willie fans, How can you justify such greedy and assholeish behavior from the Williams who are supposed to be very classy and have high morals as you say?

Lawsuit for what? They reached a settlement. So i guess you would have stayed in an unfair agreement instead of leaving?

Contracts and agreements are broken and renegotiated all the time when the terms are not fair.

It's not my job to "justify" anything the Williams do or don't do. I can only give my opinion. If you want the truth, maybe you should find a way to ask Macci and Richard what happened. From what I've heard, they had some kind of misunderstanding and Richard pulled the girls out of the academy. I don't know what their contract was with him and I don't know the circumstances around what you saw on E!, but I don't believe any of this is Venus and Serena's fault. I'm almost certain that they didn't do any negotiating when they were 10 and 11 yrs old.

Define "supposed to get" in contrast to "got after having sued" .....

Such hate for the sisters. Why?

Your fave is on a roll right now why are you lashing out LOL.
Perhaps he's just denying himself and juju isn't his fave. You would think that would sustain him enough that he'd concentrate on her but maybe she's just not the shit and he has to concern himself with Venus and Serena so he can sleep at night  Unhealthy but it may work for him.

Isn't that the guy who wrote a book about the private life of the Williamses??? Maybe thats why they didn't want to work longer with him.
No, you're thinking of "Venus and Serena: My Seven Years as a hitting Coach for the Williams Sisters" by Dave Rineberg.

I suppose for breach of contract. It does seem that a lot of athletes, and their agents, don't view contracts as binding.
Not when the contract is tantamount to slavery. Like how big studios lock in artists to ten album deals paying them 10,000 an album when those albums sell three or four million.

I suppose if you were that artist you would stay in that contract instead of fighting it?

If you wanted to go for someone getting screwed over because of those pesky Williams gals, it's Richard's children and ex-wife from his first marriage. Being the idiot that you are, you chose to go down the Rick Macci route instead. Novice mistake.

I'm sorry but your application for a pointless shit-stirring thread has been rejected. Better luck next time. :wavey:

The first question would have to be, was the contract was in writing, then what were the terms and then we can talk breach of contract.

Watching the Williams sisters E! documentary? The one that said Serena won Wimbledon in 2001 and the sisters contested two slam finals in 2000?
Wasn't E asking fans for pictures and information on the sisters? Talk about credibility.:tape:  E is tabloid TV!!
