HENNEMANN has a great week to win the biggest title of her career. Well, she won two W25s in 2022, which seem to be the equivalent to W35 now, but it's still by far her biggest title since then 👏

I can't remember who but it feels like a few other Swedish players have had good ITF results lately so I know they're far from their strongest bunch of talent at the moment, but maybe there's a group headed in the right direction ? Meanwhile, I have just seen Mirjam SHAPOVALOVA come up on my instagram after her marriage to Denis so congrats to her but do we have any idea if she'll be playing again or not ?

I still remember PIGATO from her match against WW in Italy during Covid. Congrats to her for reaching the final, but I would have thought she'd be at a much higher level than W35s by now based on the hype they were trying to give her at that point.

I don't think so really, Swedish tennis is not in a good place right now. They only have two players in the top 600 and none inside the top 250.
But maybe you're referring to Lea Nilsson, runner-up at the last juniors USO? Which was obviously a pleasant surprise for Sweden.

Hennemann was already a top 300 player before an injury forced her to stay away from the courts, she came back to the competition just 3 months ago and has done really well since (23W/4L, 2 titles), she could climb back to the top 400 quickly.
Peterson has turned 30 this year and has been struggling with injuries for quite some time as well, she barely played this year.
I just quickly checked and I think I must be thinking of RINALDO PERSSON who did well at two ITF events in August – funny enough both were in Poland. But thanks for all this other helpful info too, and yes like you say it still isn't great...

Pigato having quite a decent year but the ranking doesn't really reflect it. Will be back up to around 365 when this results will be added with a chance to climb more this week.
Well I'm glad it's decent for her standards but damn I thought she'd be at least top 100 by now after that little bubble of hype she got in that Parma event.
