Michaëlla Krajicek has retired.

^As did I. According to the WTA website, her last match was a loss in qualifying for a 75k in the Netherlands almost exactly a year ago, in July 2024. I would have guessed it was long before that. Always liked watching her actually, wishing her all the best.

I don’t know who is Rivkin but I see she’s only 22. Is she retiring because of some grave injury or is there something else? Whatever it is she is so young and should not treat this decision as definite. A lot can change in a year, let alone 3 or 5.

Also kinda strange she posted a short video of her opponent winning the point against her along with her retirement post.

As for Anna Gabric, seems she retired and became a coach of Jule Niemeier? She's never mentioned by name oddly, but Jule mentions it is her best friend who is now retired and the article has a random Insta post from Gabric in it.

No results, me thinks. Hasn't even won a single W15 after 4 seasons. A lot of girls around her age have retired while struggling to make an impact, but they haven't been announcing it like this.

She's also been in a college in Texas, not sure if she finished the studies or not, but that could be another reason. Many D1 college tennis US graduates either gave up quickly or didn't bother at all, because they could rely on their studies for a job

she was part of Porsche Talent Team during Corona along Lys, Schunk, Akugue, Seidel, Middendorf, Steur, Guth.

She was the least succesfull. She had solid double results last years.
