Kalinskaya seems like someone whose tennis ability could make her a Top 10 mainstay, but does not have the required mentality for it. I would rate her ability higher than, say, Paolini, Badosa or Navarro, but she seems content to hang around in Top 30/40 instead.
Yeah, if she had Navarro's mentality, she'd probably be top 10/15.

As you say, she's pretty weak between the ears, and she's had plenty of matches where she's checked out when down and retired 'injured'.

Oh there you are @Cyclops  Well I'll be taking a break myself starting on Friday for 10 days vacah. Foolishly leaving the country when Emma is here and in Canada winning matches and creating excitement. What was I thinking :(
Hello zenga are you going anywhere nice on your vacation like Afghanistan? 🙂

Naomi has a credible 20-10 win/loss record this season but is 4-7 against top 50 opponents. Nearly half her wins (9) came in the Auckland 250 and the Saint Malo 125.
She has a decent record, but the average rank of opponent is 112 this year, whilst Emma's is 52.

Emma's 11-11 against top 50 players, but 6 of those defeats have been against top 5 players.

Emma had a better season last year as well. Very close in rankings iirc at the end of the year but Emma played less tournaments.
