Many more..........this place was so good last year. It only takes 2/3 users to destroy a forum. I had the unfortunate experience with Halep's sub. One comment that still sticks with me from Halep's sub back then was: 'this is my favorite place in the world'. Same as it was here. Those times are gone.

Of course those users more active when Emma loses 2/3 here in mind. They don't even understand the damage they are creating.

I think Mr iGOAT plus the others have listed out all of the people I was thinking of who have sadly departed us. I thought one or two of them might return for Wimbledon but it appears not.😕

As for Zaubers his last post was where he said he was going paddling. He was very old so I hope he is still okay and with us. 😢 His spirit here remains alive through the 'GO EMMA GO!' posts. This is still one of his best topics in my opinion: - 😂

Of course in addition to the valued members who have left in the last 3-6 months, we have also had a number excellent of new members join. 😃

 

Oh, so many wonderful posters left. I didn't even notice 90tennis wasn't posting anymore... And so many of them disable/deleted their accounts altogether. How sad. I hope at least some of them will decide to come back at some point!

 

I just had a thought, and this may be completely crazy.. but you don’t think Lionel ate the posters who are missing do you?

Or maybe they ran away together?! Lionel knows better than to eat Emma's biggest and nicest supporters.

 

People will usually come and go for various different reasons, and it's not always related solely to what goes on in EE. Sometimes life gets in the way. I know myself I haven't contributed as much as I would like to due to work and family reasons.

There's actually been a slew of new people that have contributed a lot more recently like @tennislife98 @Johnny0202 @Geminili @WanderingBear @gbar23 and you do occasionally get some people who come back in when she's more active in tournaments.

Thanks for the mention. I'm enjoying my time here. I don't play tennis so I'm unable to contribute on any technical critique on Emma's performance, but am learning from others. I'm unable to provide stats back up of any kind to counter trolls. As much as sometimes want to give it back to trolls that's just not my style (I leave that to @cricketbat @Overserved 😃 and sorry if I have missed others!). I will always have Emma's back unless her personality/ character drastically change. That said I will defend Emma to the best of my ability.

 

Cricket and OverServed are definitely Emma’s best defenders in GM

It’s crazy how often posters get banned here. EE is like a bubble. One rarely sees any uncivilized behavior that can result in a ban.

 

Unfortunately some posters venture into the MF and get embroiled in heated discussions. Personally I do read the MF, but stay here where we can discuss properly. I’ve no interest in arguing with others.

It‘s such a shame that we lose good posters like this 🙁

 

Wandering Bear hasn't wandered in here in a while. Used to see him every few months, stopping by on his way to somewhere else. Maybe he's moved on to other pastures.
