OMG...What a match for TOmmy! :)

he fought off 2 match points after being down a break the whole third set at 4-5, then went on to win in the tie break.

Tough brek for Gambill though :(

At least the doubles count though!

Who has the edge there? ASV is obviously the best doubles player of the lot - but do her an Tommy play as well together and Seles-Gambill?

I don't really care who wins - I just wish I got it on TV :(

Spain wins second rubber!

Tommy Robredo beat Jan-Michael Gambill 6-3 2-6 7-6 (7-2), levelling the tie!

Jan-Michael Gambill had two championship points on his serve at 5-4 in the 3rd set, but Tommy came back to win!

It now goes into a deciding mixed doubles match...

If i remember correctly, Gambill double faulted on his first championship point (mmm don't take my word for it), then Tommy had an amazing point to get it back to deuce, after a great rally he performing some sort of incredible high backhand volley to force Gambill's error! The crowd was right behind him! And Gambill threw his racquet down on the ground disgusted with himself, while Tommy couldn't stop smiling!

Yep! At the moment we've got Hopman Cup on one channel and AAPT Championships on another channel (Philippoussis match), so I keep swapping between!

Mixed doubles might take 20+ minutes to start because players need to shower.

OMG WD SPAIN!!!

I told ya Tommy is a great player! After all he has defeated Federer, Zabaleta & Gambill in the same week... and this is not clay! :D Congrats ASV too, she fought in that second set against Monica and I'm sure she helped Tommy with her experience in that mixed doubles match :)
