My favourite big babe tennis this week. What an exho

There is plenty of room on the "PIE TRAIN", jump on board. Only an exho, but both were trying, Iga just had an off day.

These two could certainly have a rivalry in 2023, something the Tour needs.

So that's TWO slams each for them in 2022.

Rybakina played great, even better than her amazing level against Garcia last night. She was a little poor on the short balls (as usual) in the first set, but by the second set she was striking it so well on the first two shots of the rally that it didn't even matter. Don't love her coach's bad attitude though.

Obviously it's only an exho, but despite how incredible of a player Swiatek is, I don't necessarily think she's a great 'problem solver' on court. I guess because she is usually dominating so much she doesn't have a problem to solve. :lol2: But this is why I hope some players (including Rybakina I guess) actually take it to her this upcoming season, so they all get better (even her).

This is a very big side effect of dominating, while not being significantly better than the field (like Serena was)….you don’t learn how to handle pressure situations, or efficiently encounter problems, in big matches and often either get out clutched, or fade away. It’s the same issues Barty had.

That’s the worst I’ve seen Iga play in a long time. Even her posture was negative. And I didn’t see any of her team there tonight, not even Daria, although I may have missed her. Perhaps Iga feels a little let down if they have all gone home for Xmas. Apparently she’s coming straight to Australia.

Iga had always been a 50/50 crap shoot against good servers. This is not surprising.

The huge lack of competent serves on the WTA is a loophole Iga exploits masterfully.

Opposing a good server might explain why a good player might struggle to break serve, but it doesn't on it's own explain why a player would get broken on five out of eight services games. To suggest Iga lost this match simply because Elena served well would be to take a pretty simplistic view. Elena was clearly doing more to beat Iga than just serving well.

I'm out fishing but just not having as much luck as Iga by being able to take 4 games of Pie. Too bad it's only an exho just like the Iga Saba match it means nothing.
