Is it wrong when they writes this here, as 8 have Byes?

”The competition will see 64 players battling it out in the singles main draw and 32 teams competing in the doubles category. With a total prize pool of $3,654,963, the event is part of the prestigious WTA 1000 series”

So, do I get this right? Apparently the WTA have clamped down on the last remaining people that had access to the entry lists and were willing to publish them, so now only the tournaments themselves are the source, and quite frankly many of them don't give a sh.. ...?

Well done, WTA! Way to go to make the WTA popular...

Keys & Collins are out of Doha. McCartney Kessler (ranked No.47 as of last week) the last direct acceptance

Bencic & Cirstea are not here

The first alternates to the 64-player Doha main draw are Anhelina Kalinina, Rebecca Sramkova, Katerina Siniakova and Ashlyn Krueger. Former World No.1 Naomi Osaka has withdrawn from the alternates list, while former US Open champion Emma Raducanu is currently the 13th alternate.

Keys skipping Doha makes sense. She probably needs to reset/re-focus after her incredible run in Australia.

DRC must be injured or just gives zero f*cks about her ranking this year. Middle East swing seemed like a decent opportunity to pick up points before her Miami/Charleston points come off in April. Oh well.

Kalinskaya probably out. She's apparently out of Dubai so no way she plays Doha.
omg no way. Source???

oh how the fall cometh. she'll fall to the low 30s in ranking
