She also won Indian Wells in singles and Wimbledon semi, obviously won both in doubles
She came back for another Olympics but it was Mirra & Shnaider who won Silver in Paris

 

 

All these players were tempted by the post-Serena weak era.

Whenever I think this is a really weak doubles era -and it's definitely weak-, I can look back at Vesnina's comeback results and think weeeeell, maybe not that weak.
