Wouldn't say I miss her, but it always sucks to see good juniors just disappear out of nowhere - seems to be sadly a very often case on the female tour.

 

I remember she had a total psycho and control-freak father who completely ruined her career and even her life.

 

She has talent but didn't have a good environment like Qinwen She had alot of injuries , but the biggest thing her career was affect by her parents. Her parents was too controlling , when she fights back they would physically abuse her the point when it spilled blood. They are now on bad terms , parents divorced and no wants ones her. She suffered from depression for periods of time.
It's sad she had a lot of talent , her management didn't a good job either, but her father is just really terrible, too controlling and too focus on success, neglect her pain and didn't care about her other thoughts.

I don't know if she's ready to come back without much support

 

I remember her dad beat her when she lost a match but Xu decided to fight back and break up the relationship with him? her dad is just a freaking psycho.

Nara retired in 2022, Morita and Doi last year and Kato is a top 40 doubles player

 

I never heard of this girl but what a tragic story. So sad for anyone to have to endure that. I hope she is getting better somewhere.
