Weirdly enough, as I’m looking back at the last decade by various google searches, awards ceremonies, etc... Christopher Nolan keeps popping up as directing some of my favorite movies from the decade.

Inception
Interstellar
The Martian
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Winter’s Bone

honorable mention:
Arrival
Black Panther
Easy A
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part I

^Call Me By Your Name is lovely. I liked the Suspiria remake as well.

Inception was absolutely terrible, not only because of its utterly unimaginative depiction of dreams, but mostly because of the excessive exposition, which made it completely unwatchable on second viewing. I genuinely cannot imagine anyone enjoying this movie more than once. Nolan is such a fucking hack.

I personally don’t watch a lot of movies but some of my favorites were The Hunger Games, Ready Player One, Call Me By Your Name and The Maze Runner

But isn't Inception supposed to be the film people rewatch constantly? I remember watching it in the cinema and feeling satisfied with it, but never considering it especially relevant to my interests. I've forgotten about it completely tbh.
