In a final a month ago, I started out a bit passive and lost the first set against a guy in singles who was hitting lines and getting netcords in his favor. First set 3-6. Then I finally got a break point at 1-1 in the second and after that I started getting pumped and nailing winners left and right. Won the set 6-1. In the third, he took a long break and got a new can of balls (which is not a rule for the tournament, he did it because fresher balls benefit him). I lost my flow and came out flat again making silly errors. Went down 0-3 before firing back to finally win the title 6-4 in the third:cheer: Not a big comeback, but it was tough considering it was a final, I wanted to win, and was annoyed that I was practically let it slip away at 0-3 in the third. But it was a great fight.

In Mixed, me and my partner were down 6-7 2-5 and then we started to play back and I practically played singles. We won 6-7 7-5 [10-5]:eek:h: They were clueless how to react to me doing that.

In a doubles match, I was paired with a 13 year old boy and I've never played with him before  3 of us on the court were over 25 :rolls: We were down 0-5 but we somehow fought back to win the set :spit: That was so hilarious.

I had many comebacks. But the greatest comeback for me was in a match in which I already had my shoulder injury. I was down 0:6 2:5 0-40 and I really felt the pain in my shoulder. I saved many MPs with Service winners. I won at the end with 0:6 7:6(7:5) 6:4 after saving 8 Match Points. After being down 2:5 0-40 in the second set I moved pretty well and I ignored my pain in a way. It was one of my last matches before my injury break.

I had several this season, which has been a very good one:

- From 4-6 0-3 to 4-6 6-3 6-3
- The following day, from 3-6 6-4 3-5 to 3-6 6-4 7-5 (with dramatic cramping in the last game for my opponent)
- From 3-6 3-5 to 3-6 7-5 7-5 (3 hours of chokefests from both and endless rollercoaster, down 4-5, 0-30 in the third too... the guys scheduled after literally HATED us)

A couple years ago I won a match 3-6 7-6 7-6 saving a MP in 2nd set tie-break with a dropshot winner. One of my fondest memories, really.

Split tiebreak sets, found myself down 1-5 0-40 in the third and came back to win 11-9 in the third set tiebreak. Saved 5 MPs in total. #SerenaComeback :)

0-5 behind third set, opponent ran too fast onto the net pole and had to forfeit coz he couldn't walk properly anymore.

Not my best match, but I took it and won the title the next day :spit:

My greatest comeback came this weekend actually I was in the semifinals of an adult tournament with my friend in doubles and we came back from 3-6 0-3 to eventually win the match 3-6 6-3 10-7 in super tiebreak. It was incredible I don't know how we did it but we did and I ended up winning my first doubles title. Really proud since I don't usually play doubles.

I remember a few

4:6 6:3 MTB 7:9
saved 5 MPs to win MTB 14-12

3:6 3:4*
came back to win 3:6 6:4 MTB 10:4

7:6 2:6 MTB 0:4
ruled the MTB in the end to win 10:5

3:6 7:6 10:8
was down multiple times in that match, 3-5 in the 2nd set TB and also 2:6 in the MTB

Did I already say I love those MTB's? :eek:h:

A one set doubles match from *1-5 15-40 2nd serve saving 7Mps :hearts:

Also a 3-6 4-4* 30-40* to 3-6 6-4 6-0. I don't play a lot of 3 setters in singles so this is actually my biggest 'comeback' in a 3 setter.

Back when I was still a junior I was playing a tournament and was up against a friend. I was down 0-5 in the first set and my buddy was serving for the set. I broke him and went on to win the next 12 games with the final score being 7-5, 6-0. He didn't talk to me for a while after that...
