Here is another exciting opportunity to build another fantastic team for the battle in New York.
Your chance to close the tennis season with a BANG!!!!!!!!
Be bold. And make it happen!!!!

Build a 6-player team made of 3 WTA and 3 ATP players in any order.
Sit back and watch your team members push your team to the top, with each victory. It's that easy !!!!
No daily maintenance. Your work is done once you submit your players. :)

Rules Reminder:
When you add up the rankings of your WTA players, the total should at least = 15. Same for ATP players' ranking total.
( If you have for instance Osaka(1), Pliskova(3) and Halep(4) as your WTA crew, that team will be invalid because their total ranking is 1+3+4 = 8)

Follow the US Open with added excitement, rooting for your team and wishing the other teams go down in flame. Hell Yeah ! lol lol lol

Post a draft team now. Revise as many times as you wish when you change your mind.
To modify your team, please quote the existing team in a new post. It makes it easier for us to notice the change.

Teams must be submitted before the first R1 match.
Good Luck !!!!

As usual, here is an example of the team format:
Note:The players' order matters a great deal. The higher they are placed on the team, the higher the potential to earning more points for you.

Of course you may select a player outside the top-32

Team Name: The cream Always Rise to the Top
(make your team name cool and unique)
1 Barty
2 Dimitrov
3 Keys
4 Nadal
5 Thiem
6 Kuzmova
Cheerleaders: Kuzzy's Comeback Crew

Tip: the higher the player on your team, the more points he/she brings in.
So it's a good idea to mix ATP and WTA.

deadline: Teams must be submitted before the first match of the Main Draw.
All Teams list will be displayed @: https://tennisgamers.com/board/slams/skanteams.php

Well, I'm definitely going to take Bianca because I fully expect her to slay, but the rest will take some consideration. Félix can't seem to take the heat like some other Canadians (go figure, right? - maybe he should see Djoker's Dr. for some "help" :eek:h: ), so I'll wait for some weather forecasts closer to the event to decide on him.

lol @ weather forecasts ... Does his chances increase on cloudy days? lol lol
Actually it does, he does much better when it's cooler, Pospisil is the same... Djokovic used to be as well.

That's some observation. :) I knew about some players being better indoor under air conditioning. Never thought of the same outdoor.

Contemplating changing mine and bumping Djokovic down since everyone else has him at top...it doesn't help me to have him there if everyone has him there, but...i might have to take a stab at who i think will win the women's title which i don't wanna try to guess...LOL....

WTA is painful because of BO3.
It's so much easier @ ATP where the top can survive a 0-2 1-2 deficit. Hard to knock down the 3 giants in 5-set.
Women top players are more vulnerable. You lose 2 sets and you are going home. No time to recover. That's unfair.
