New Zealand tennis player Mark Nielsen said Friday he tested positive for a banned substance at this year's Australian Open. Nielsen said he ingested finasteride inadvertently while taking prescription medication he had been using since 2003. Finasteride is on the International Tennis Federation's list of banned substances because it can be used as a masking agent for steroids.
