Early odds" Serena 5/1, Kvitova 10/1, Osaka 10/1, Kerber 14/1
I look for some longshots like Bolsova or Siniakova

It's between Sevastova, Wozniacki, Garcia or Vekic.

People comparing Anisimova and Vondrousova to Henin and Clisjters

We won't hear from these girls ever again. The same way we never heard from Jelena "Q1 1R W 1R 1R" Ostapenko

Yet Sloane "1R 3R 3R 1R 1R" Stephens is in a poll to win Wimbledon. Am I detecting a hint of bias in the OP?:surprise:

Anyway the entirely objective unbiased answer is obviously Madison Keys.

I have no idea.
Kvitova is the safest bet.
Serena could/should perform well here, a SF is the minimum goal for her.
Defending Champ Kerber and 2017 champ Muguruza could both go far.

As for the youngsters, Ostapenko has the perfect game for grass (minus the serve) but she is wildly unpredictable. Osaka has struggled on grass, but her gameplay should actually be very effective.

Vekic should be a dark horse, she is bound for a full slam breaktrough (QF or better) soon, but as her development is following a slower but steady path and she already had a 4r at RG this year, maybe she won't go far in Wimby in a couple of weeks.

Let's wait for the draw.
