Alexandra has had a sensational week. She deserves huge respect and I am sure we will be seeing much more of her in the future. She played against Daniela like a seasoned top 30 player.

However Alona is playing even better still. Much better. Alona is playing the kind of tennis that sends top 10 players on their flights home. She is in sublime form. Alona is going for her shots like I've never seen her do before and practically all of them are going in. Not only do I expect Alona to win tomorrow but I expect her to put together a nice run at RG too.

Clearly it will be no disgrace for Alexandra whatever the score but I hope she can still give a good account of herself. If she can win six games that will be a pretty good effort.
