Not just because Im a deluded stan, she's been playing a lot better since RG and is in better form than most of the other girls.

Also I think Kerber may be tired, or withdraw completely.

On one hand I really unterstand why Kerber entered here. This is the tournament where her rise to the Top started. I doubt that she had made the Semis in New York if she hadn't played here. She got some confidence back after reaching the Semis here, breaking a string of 1R losses.

However, I'm afraid as a top player it's not the right choice to come here. But you have to give her credit for supporting the event.

I am not just sure about the second quarter, because both Vinci and Hsieh have very good chances to get out from this, and I like both, so I can't decide :lol:
I don't know why, but I have the feeling it is going to be a final between Peng and Wozniak, with Aleksandra winning her first title of the year.
