Bad match-up for Nastya. La Broz in 2.
I'm not sure I agree that it's a bad match-up - I remember Pavs having a field day unloading on Woz's forehand puffballs when they played at Wimbledon a couple of years ago, and that was on Pavs' worst surface.

With that said, it's probably too early in her "recovery" from her mega-slump for her to have good enough consistency and confidence to pull off a win against Woz at this point :sobbing: I just hope she can sneak a set somehow.

I really don't know. Wozniacki was pretty good against Kvitova in Montreal and served two forms of bread today against thunder BUT Pavlyuchenkova's form isn't too bad either so this is going to be very interesting.

h2h 5-0 for Woz. But they met last 4 times in 2010 when Woz won all four matches while playing at the top of her game.

Sadly, Nasty hasn't exactly blossomed since then. Girl's got talent but seems in no hurry to develop it.

Woz has come off the edge a bit but probably not enough to prevent another straight set decision.

Normally i'd say Pushniacki but Nastya is due a good run and seems to be hitting the ball well (so gone for Chunky)

Borz probably with another bagel. Chunkova is very dumb against these types of players.

She bails out of rallies too fast.

Pavly has been going downhill this year it seems. This should be a comfortable win for Wozniacki, followed by a loss the following round.

The only talent she seems in a hurry to develop since joining the tour is her Krisp Kremes and McDonalds taste testing one. Yet this is the one some have called the future of tennis. Scary times ahead for the WTA.

Pavly has not beaten Caro since they were juniors. Matches between them are not one sided, but usually Pavly makes some more or less stupid mistakes at the wrong time. So, Caro in three sets. :)

Actually they are pretty much one sided , except for that Wimbledon match. (6-1 6-4; 6-2 6-2 ; 6-1 6-3 ; 6-1 6-2). Nastya hasn't won a set yet, this is her best chance, slumping Caro should give her enough errors to at least take a set.
