Mboko vs Drova - ouch, not sure what to expect but losing again for 3rd time in a row

Ehh, I don't know. She has a bye and she's in excellent form. It's the last 1000 of the year. She might want to keep moving forward. If anything, the faster conditions in Wuhan are probably better for her game.

The top half feels much tougher than the bottom half given recent form/results. I'd bet on Sabalenka. I don't think she's ever lost in Wuhan.

It was mud slow last year which was why Zheng made it to the final and took a set off Sabalenka for the very first time, and Gauff served up 21DFs and still nearly beat Sabalenka. Both have the same western grip like Swiatek for maximum spin so I think Swiatek will win it esp with this cakewalk draw.
