Recent changes, revamped new look, they really went all in on rounded corners.

^ It's a significantly worse visual experience than the previous style/interface.
And that was entirely predictable, of course.
The LEAST they could do is give the option of a dark version. But they don't.
They simply don't care at all...

Aargh, this will mean all my data scrappers will break when I attempt to get the next lot of matches. Even getting to the stats now require more page scrolling and you have to click view more tab to display the important numbers.

Still lacking attention to detail on match information on the scores tab, qualifying matches don't list what Q round it is so if you really needed that info you have to cross reference with the Q draw. Just more clicks for less information.

.

Which match is the second WTA match on GrandStand???
Is the schedule to be followed vertically or horizontally???
It's truly unbelievable! View attachment 375138
It's horizontally, the same as on WTA TV.

But have you looked at the doubles draw?

No initials anywhere. How are you supposed to know which Kichenok twin is playing, and is this Qinwen or Saisai partnering Xiyu, Xinyu or Yafan? If you hover your mouse over the name you do see which one it is, but I assume that's not an option for people looking on their phones.

Which three person focus group within their pool of interns came up with this?

They use to show walkover results on the scores tab so at least you can see who pulled out. Now I can't even see the Jabeur vs Kvitova result, it takes more time to just find simple things, I might decide to switch to using flashscore, sofascore type websites.

Can’t believe you’ve been suffering this long without Flashscore—welcome to the 21st century!

WTA has messed up the Doubles Rankings Page today (19 May), starting from doubles ranking #95.

Even worse the doubles rankings pdf misses many player entries starting form page 1. The May 19 pdf at this moment has only 23 pages of players. The May 5-pdf had 36 pages.

It is difficult to find how to access the list of all tournaments now, whereas before, it was very straightforward.

Also, the scores at the top of the page are no longer there - that is a very significant omission, as they were very useful and practical.

Also, in the Order Of Play for each tournament, the order of the matches is definitely far from obvious - is the order of the matches to be read vertically, or horizontally? It would be extremely easy and simple to enumerate them.

Look at the two week tournaments. You can't find the results for qualifying or the first day or two of main draw action because they only have room to put 10 dates in their box! I use that information (scores, tie-breaks and match duration) for ongoing projects, and have always updated it at the end of each event. Now I can't do so without referring to one or more other websites which DO have everything I need. Someone needs to remind me to do it day by day for the next two week monstrosity!

Something else I can't stand is how parts of the pages slide over the top of what's underneath. Why the hell couldn't it be locked in place like any normal internet page, so that someone looking at it can just scroll up or down like usual?

At last. Also not sure if it’s been noticed or not' but it is possible to check year-end rankings now (stats->YTD->pick); the old graphs still nowhere to be found' but it's still very handy when updating Wikipedia stats tables.. much better than manually parsing the rankings for each season.
