Well, I guess it's good that they're doing something, and that "something" is not "Let's pick a pretty girl and hope she wins a lot", but this is seriously just a collection of random pictures paired with random buzzwords, very few of which have any meaningful connection to the player in question, and even if they did, it's very likely the general audience wouldn't know it anyway, so it's kind of moot.

How are black and white headshots of nameless players paired with a random buzzword supposed to promote women *tennis*? There isn't one racquet to be seen.

The ATP is very aggressive with its marketing and is going all-in with the Big Three and the #NextGen while you have the WTA promoting Khromacheva and Minella. Nice ladies but will never be household names. They tried something at long last but they needed something more memorable as they get ready to lose Serena and Maria.

The "My Story" vids are quite interesting, though.
And nobody is talking about it!!! They just uploaded new ones with Kontaveit and Svitolina and both are pretty good. The most insightful one for me though was the Mertens one, but I'm probably biased

When we will see second part?

Only one word came to my mind after seeing the basics of this campaign: CHEAP!

1) It doesn't send a strong message at all. They should have stuck with a single and more powerful line, like "It takes courage - WTA", instead of using buch of randomly positioned buzzwords next to the players' portraits.
2) It remains unclear whom they have targeted with this campaign, nor who the main faces of it are. There are just too many players. They should've chosen, for example, 20 most recognisable faces and built the campaign around them.
3) Since they have decided to use black-and-white combination (which indeed matches with lilac logo) they should've used rawer pics instead of the photoshopped ones - to make players look more humane and accessable. Instead, they prestented them as top model divas (well, not all of them, but most).

All in all, this campaign is just a waste of their money and our time.

They hired a local boutique marketing firm in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Identifying a the "elite group" is indeed mandatory. They need to select a few players and hope that they deliver instead of wasting time and energy on a 29 y.o. player with a CHR of 67 or something. They may be scared to hell after flopping with Bouchard but it's a lot more exciting for the fans to have some #NexGen stars that some "#ItTakes fight, discipline or hard work to become something in life". No shit, Sherlock.

I get that it must be hard to work with inconsistency and bland personalities but they aren't helping themselves. The WTA must create hype and narratives and work with the top players that they have. Bencic and Barty are 23 and 22 y.o and have won a PM and two P5s yet they are still little known. Shapovalov, FAA, Tsitsipas or even De Minaur have bigger profiles.

The ATP saw the incoming disaster and made big moves to react just in time. What is the WTA doing? Telling us that Alizé Cornet decided to go to Australia instead of staying home with her dad for his first chemo treatment. Touching but just not selling women tennis.

The WTA is hopeless it that's the shot of the month. To me, that's damaging AF. How are the fans supposed to be excited about the product if that's the best they can hope for? You can see that at any Sunday's league match. Pick a doubles rally or something.

"What does it take to win the US Open?"
WTA asks the coaches but not the players  The coaches helped but the players are the ones out there taking the title home.
