On the contrary, it is early. This is the perfect warm up for European players to play something after the off season before heading to Australia.

Im' a little surprised Mladenovic isn't playing; she's playing Dubai, where she lives, the week before but she's such a patriot I would have expected her to want to support an event in France.

It does count for AO Quali cut...
When is this cut made?

I reckon some of these players will not play the full lineup of warmup events in Australia and might just head to AO MD/Q straight away...
