She cannot or chooses not to pronounce Dementieva or Pistolesi correctly. How many times will she say "PESTOLESI" or DUH MEN TEE AY VA" plus she americanize Henin-Hardenne and Hantuchova of course there is Johnny Mac who say " CAHHHH pree AHH ti"

Would she call Pete Sampras "pesto pete" :haha:

I met Pam a few years ago, and I can tell you- she is a very intelligent, well-educated woman. I don't think she's mis-pronouncing Pistolesi's last name at all- I would wager it's sarcasm (pest)olesi.

Anyway, Pam is so great, she is one of the best commentators - too bad those assholes at teh BBC chose to CRIMINALLY underuse her this year and gave the big matches to that useless donkey Tracy Austin.

:lol: :lol: :lol: I like Tracy, but I couldn't agree with you more- she's kinda like one of those helmeted blonde newscaster talking heads. You could whisper pretty much anything into her ear and it would come out, and then she'd have to apologize and shuffle her cards a little better! :lol:
