Wimbledon qualifying where 128 players fighting for their tennis future starts on Tuesday.
There is probably more drama here than the main draw, because if a player fails here, they may be out of pro tennis forever.
A player needs to win 3 matches to advance to the main draw and the big money.
128 go in, only 16 go on.

Schoofs had a very comfortable lead over Davis, but still lost the second set.

Anna Blinkova over Zoe Hives. Should have been a quicker match, but Hives got back into the match after being a break down in the second set, only to lose her way at the end.

Kristie Ahn takes out Naomi Broady, who only got into the draw after Katy Dunne pulled out from her WC through injury. Broady was up a break in the second set, then loses.

Now Sabine Lisicki serves against Timea Babos - in some years this would have been a main draw match.
