This could go to someone really random. I still think the Czech duo are the favourites, but if they lose it's anyone's game. Wouldn't mind seeing Hradecka/Mirza finally do something here, or Stosur/Chan, but they're always at risk of having a bad day. I wouldn't even be shocked to see Kichenok/Ostapenko make it to like the SFs. Possibly even Muhammad/Shibahara.

It's weird Mladenovic and Garcia aren't playing after winning RG. Mladenovic should have been in the draw in general, considering she was never likely to get out of the R1. Will she stick around for mixed? Hmm.

Owing to their recent form, they have always awarded a tough draw. I hope they proceed, but they will lose in first round. Meanwhile, I have noticed that Xu/Zang always placed in in weakest quarter amongst others
