You're not my mate and never will be. Save the fake for some other fool. The OP brought up Pova (and Kerber and Serena and Kanepi and everyone). This is a forum...it's kind of the point to read a post, divulge it and reply. You're smart
It wasn't an invitation for friendship The OP was speaking in relation to Bencic, not Pova. But you always make it as though the world revolves around Pova. It doesn't.
Bye. You're permanently ignored. Dumb troll. No time for the devil today. :wavey:

how so? her draw is very tough. and her temper is still holding her back.
It’s a bizarre jinx thread, TF entering new dimensions of paranoia.

Honestly in all seriousness Belinda did not get the rub of the green from the draw gods this time around. It is true she is playing very well and had she wound out in any of the other three quarters her chances at reaching at least a semifinal would be pretty good. But she really did draw the short straw. I will say this however. If somehow she can manoeuvre her way through the draw from hell then there is no reason she can't win the title. I personally think anyone who can get through this top quarter has a pretty good shot to win the title. But yeah, it will be tough for her with that draw.

What a bullshit. Most of those player, who she is SUPPOSED to play, won't make it that far, and/or are injured, and/or are out of form anyway. You can find exactly the same kind of draw in every possible slam for multiple players.

Just to remind you, Barty was "supposed" to play Hsieh, Williams, Osaka/Azarenka, Halep, Bertens/Stephens/Muguruza/whoeverelsewasthere to win her French Open. Did not meet even one of those players.

And can anyone enlighten me why unfit Serena Williams, whose level is barely top50 at very best, is presented as threat here? :tape::spit::spit:

Honestly, I have to agree that this is the best chance she'll have of reaching a semi for a while. There are a lot of big names in her quarter, but how many of them actually have the form to back it up at the moment?

1R: Pavlyuchenkova has been a walking bye since she beat Sloane in Melbourne - she's earned only 298 points since then. I see absolutely no reason for her to turn things around here.
2R: Kanepi hasn't won a match at Wimbledon since 2014.
3R: Vekic will still be mentally destroyed from her loss in the Nottingham final. She beat Bencic on clay because she had no pressure and Bencic hates the surface more than her, but here she will face the pressure of defending big points for the first time, while Bencic can hit freely. This looks like a straight-forward win to me. Riske has never been to the second week at Wimbledon and this won't change this year.
4R: Barty is the only person she might meet here that could give her problems, but this is a nice matchup for Belinda, as she can use Ashleigh's forehand pace and has the rally tolerance to deal with her slice spam. She would eat Muguruza for breakfast, too
QF: She already beat Kerber on grass this year and she'd eviscerate Serena for her lack of movement. No chance she gives either of these a look at the match.

There isn't actually a single player she could meet in this tournament that she shouldn't expect to win against. I see no reason why she can't make the semi, and once she does that the tournament is essentially hers. Even if Peak Pliskova came to play, which it won't, we saw how that matchup goes in Indian Wells. It'll only be worse on grass.

I put a bet on her to win the whole thing a few days ago cause the odds were 25/1 which I thought was harsh. I don't see why the odds are so stacked against her, she plays well on grass and has had a great year so far.

Belinda just mowed through Pavs...meanwhile Kanepi barely crawled past Voegele. Belinda should win her next round, though it may be a little tougher than Pavs.

One down, four to go. Belinda's 20% of the way there!!!

A routine win for Belinda over Kanepi...Riske next! That could be tough, but Belinda's in stunning form right now.
