I totally agree, there is no reason to watch the Open without VENUS and SERENA. It should be for next year a 128 draws with 126 bye.

But the ratings won't be lower, not as long as Roddick and Agassi are in the draw (and a tape of Sampras's retirement ceremony is handy).
you must be joking Just Venus and Serena are not there does not mean that my men dont need me. plus I cant wait to see who gonna win its wide open now for the women. Id love Davenport to win cos if it true and this would be her last open Id love for her to go out on a high

I am more excited about this Grand Slam than the last 9 put together! (outside Roland garros this year)
If you think that Justine,Kim, Davenport,Capriati,Amelie,Hantuchvoa,Dokic,Petrova, Pierce are not worth watching...good for you...I am looking foreward to some amazing tennis!

I don't boycott any tennis - well the Men's Legends Tour... I just find it so awful that people are carrying on as if the Willies have dropped off the face of the planet. I guess my sense of appreciation is low. I had to endure 26 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days inbetween matches... let alone Grand Slams. And I've been on "hold" for nearly 3 months again. So, missing a few events, 1 Slam, but knowing they'll be back soon - this fall or abouts is kinda peanuts compared to what it could have been.VeNuS FoReVeR said:

I see your tired of the exxagerations well I'm tired of a few fans (like 3) saying stuff and then it turning into "Williams fans".. Have you read the thread asking who the Williams fans will be rooting for now thread? If you had, do you see the number of fans that responded in that thread that haven't responded in this one?
hmm, maybe ballbuster is an individual and is responding in his "own" way which in no way reflects anyone else just like Selesrules posts don't reflect Seles fans in anyway.

I am a huge Williams' fan! The second Chanda drops of of the tourney I am done with watching! Unless Lindsay gets in the final then I'll watch! It would be interesting to see an old-timer win or least have a chance ta!
