Will Kim be number 1 on Monday ?!? YES OR NO ?

This is not a thread on : Should she be or not number 1. My question is plain and simple. Everyone on TV keep saying that Kim is off to number 2 next week... Is it just me that's not counting the good way ? She defended last year's points and plus she beat Schiavone, who is ranked higher than Nicole Pratt last year, no ? So she should even gain a couple points. Anyways, I just want to see who thinks like me and who thinks she will become number two ?

Well, Mary Carillo, the other one with her, Hélène Pelletier, Yvan Ponton! Do your homework! Not that I really CARE incredibly about Kim or Serena at the top, it's just that they say things that aren't even right and people think things that are not even true. I have the feeling sometimes that I would a better statistician out there. They shoud hire all of us as their statistics & Rankings crew.

What I don't understand is that almost all Canadian newspapers are reporting on "Kim will be number two topic next week", while nobody else is. I mean, it's wrong (Kim won't lose any points and Serena won't win any), but how come everybody just in Canada just took it over and where did it start?
Of course, she will be #1
