Clijsters says she may not play which means Leipzig is Henin's tournament to win or lose. Kim has SF points to defend and so does Henin, but if Henin wins will it be enough for #1. Will Kim show up to defend her ranking or will she concede it??

According to the tournament website, Kim is playing.

Kim's SF result isn't counting toward her ranking, so she won't lose points. That means Justine has to gain the amount she is behind Kim right now...

Kim has so many high-scoring results that Leipzig is not among them, and as someone says, losing Tokyo only drops 10 points.
I think even if Justine wins Leipzig, she would not catch up to Kim, though she'd be much closer. she also has 17 good results already, so she needs excellent results to advance her ranking.
Justine could become #1 at Filderstadt if she does well there and/or if Kim falters.
