the rest of the year? She has lost four straight matches. and yes, first rounds are byes for seeds, but nonetheless, a bye is not counted as a win, and therefore it cannot be considered a second round if u haven't played a first round. Either way u look at it, will Jelena go winless the rest of the year? I do not know her schedule the rest of the year. It would be wrong to assume she is not playing every tourny she can enter...
And how much does she have to defend the rest of the year? doesn't she have some points at the YEC to defend which she cannot this year? I am not sure how much first round loss at the YEC count.
I know it's harsh and really cruel, but I am enjoying the constant fall of Jelena Dokic. :lol:
What will her ranking be at the end of the year, any guesses?
I say top 25 best, top 35 worst.
Here is food for thought, next year, Dokic will face even thougher opponents in first rounds because of her slip in rankings, and thus she will continue to lose, and thus continue to fall.
