nearly everything she entered you had fans, critics, and
even players saying her dominance was bad for the game?

Only to then now, critisize her for not being dominant/winning,
for being injured, and not being around the tennis
tournaments anywhere near as much for the time being.


People want Serena to make up her mind if she's gonna play
or not, but have the same people made up their minds one
way or the other?

If Serena does get back to the top and dominates are

Because you never miss the water until the well runs dry. And you're right, perhaps if Serena had been supported and appreciated for raising the bar and forcing the other players to improve instead of being discouraged by those in the tennis community who said her being so good was bad for the sport, she'd probably still have cause to feel that loyality to hard work that made her the great player she is. But the tour has shown that it doesn't want athletes, it wants celebrities. Serena's just giving them what they want.
