plus the players voted for this to happen at this time.

All points from Leipzig , Quebec , Philadelphia , Surabaya , CHASE will come off next weeks rankings in order to give the right end of YEAR rank.

Or there would have been 2 sets of WTA CHAMPS points on this years totals and not accurately reflect end of yr rank.

only past 52 weeks count.

You could also say New York pts shouldn't come off as there is no longer the CHAMPS in New York.
