I found this doozy in Wertheim's column this week. I cannot believe that someone would actually ask these kinds of questions.

Oddly enough, at least a half dozen of you asked the same question. And I agree this is really a mystery. Let's see: The guy has the looks of a model, he has charm to burn, he lives in Monte Carlo, speaks four languages and, oh yeah, he's a top international athlete with a net worth well into eight figures. If that's not a recipe for waking up alone, I don't know what is.

I think because so much of tennis today is about rumours and off court activities that fans have gotten carried away with non tennis related issues such as this one about the quality of Marat Safin's girlfriends.
