I read one about Monica called "The Return of a Champion"... it was pretty good. I haven't read any others though, probably because I've never seen them!! I'm sure there are many other good ones out there though.
I love Monica but her autobiography is not a well written one. Not entirely her fault though.
Pam Shriver's Passing Shots which is more of a tale of a season on the tour for her is very good. I'm trying to get hold of Billie Jean, Martina N and Zina Garrison's books though.
I've only read the Chris Evert book. Plus the book "Lloyd on Lloyd" she did with her (then husband) John.
I find it impossible to find any of the others anywhere. Online booksites are usually situated in the US. I did find "Passing Shots" on a UK site but it was a signed hardback copy and cost £120 !!!! I won't be paying that in my lifetime.
I could probably find them in second hand bookshops, but that takes a lot of time that I don't have.
VBN, to your question. The Evert books are great if you're a fan. I have been told by neutral fans that the books are average. ( disagree, but then I'm not neutral )
I agree. "From Fear to Victory" is a superb book. Indeed I think it is more well written than "Venus Envy". You're right. tennis books are often hard to find. I buy all mine from a specialist tennis book shop called the Tennis Gallery, next to Wimbledon Park tube station, in London.
I even managed to get the Australian Open 2002 programme from them today!
Thanx irma  . The original title is that what you said? I will try to find it. Do you know the author? :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Did anyone read Natalie Tauziat`s book "Le dessous du tennis feminin" ? :wavey: :wavey: I would like to know if it´s good.
