In Their Prime Only!!! Give me the Gold, Silver and Bronze Winners
DREAM 100 Meters Final

Lane 1- Gwen Torrence (USA)
Lane 2- Irina Provolova(sp) (Russia)
Lane 3- Evelyn Ashford (USA)
Lane 4- Gail Devers (USA)
Lane 5- Merlene Otty (Jamaica)
Lane 6- Marion Jones (USA)
Lane 7- Flo Jo (USA)
Lane 8- Wilma Rudolph (USA)

Who would Win this Race?? In their Prime...??

Gold- Gail Devers
Silver- Flo Jo (undrugged) never proven though
Bronze-Evelyn Ashford

I picked Gail b/c of her Start....she has always BLAZED out of the Blocks, which makes her hard to catch. Over the last 20 meters she slows but her LEAN at the Tape Wins it for her Every Time.

Silver...Flo Jo- She still holds the record, but it's always a mystery behind her whooping 10.49. For a woman thats VERY VERY FAST. 10.7 by Marion Jones and Gail Devers and Gwen Torrence has been the closest to that mark.

Bronze- it was a toss up between Ashford and Otty. I picked Ashford b/c here FORM and Drive on the last 50 meters was unmatched, but with Devers start would be a hard catch. Merlene Otty has the best Finishing Speed I've ever seen her start [email protected] 150 meters no one would beat her... but at 100 is to short and 200 is to long.

Actually I believe Marion holds the next 3 or 4 fastest times behind Flo Jo. Marions PB is 10.65 for the 100m and 21.62 for the 200m.

Merlene Otty, what a wasted Talent to NEVER take the world stage at the BIG MEETS. dissappointment.

I could've sworn that in 1993 Gail and Gwen did a 10.7 something. Stats dont like, i was wrong. But Marion...another wasted talent.(unjuiced) LOL

Clean or juiced? If clean, then we immediately need to remove Flo Jo from any consideration as she was a very mediocre runner until she starting juicing (allegedly, of course ;)).

I didnt want to say anything, but since you opened the can....LOL! she is definately off the marker. I remember looking at her on ESPN SportsCentury...and she was a good 4th or 5th place runner...and AL said she just got serious and was tired of Losing! OOK.

So one season placing 5th next season breaking the world record with the time only seen by MEN? Go figure:confused:

But she is a good runner can't take that from her either.

Gail Never Juiced
Gwen Never Juiced
Evelyn Never Juiced
All Olympic champs

And Gail is the only one to defend her title...!!! I love her so much.
