So, as we're all aware, we're now into the meat of the season. For the next 3 months, we've got the French Open, Wimbledon, the Olympics and the US Open all in rapid quickfire succession :worship: And naturally, the elite players are focussing their attention on them.

But, undetected by most, deep in the WTA Forest, just a few yards on from Patty Schnyder's grave, there's a few creatures who's eyes are swivelling forwards a few months on the WTA Calendar and salivating. These crafty animals may be lacking in talent, but they're not stupid: they're fully aware that the likes of Azarenka, Sharapova, Serena, even Ivanovic, will all be too tired/un-arsed to actually bother at these events, and so there's some ample opportunity for them to sink their unworthy talons into a bank of juicy ranking points.

So, who will follow in the footsteps of the two most recent Asian Queen Vultures this year and do the Tokyo+Beijing double, and send Stacy Allaster into her latest near-nervous breakdown?

Ana to sweep the Asian Vulture Swing and inch back into the top 10 :oh:
possible...schiavonne will lose lot of point after RG, radwanska lots of point to defend in asia but maybe still enough for her to stay in top 5, petko lots of point to defend in asia but she already rank below ivanovic, vera also lots of point in asia and ivanovic can pass her...bartoli with osaka title can be trouble with her current result

If the top players aren't bothered then I'd like to see Ana/Kerber/Kirilenko do well, but if the top players actually show up to play for a change it will be a different story :shrug:

OMG

:spit::sobbing::sobbing::sobbing:

Yes the polish vulture will be pressed as hell by October, having just come off her 10th beatdown at the hands of Azarenka in New York.

Hopefully Kerber does it though. But I'm hoping she'll be comfortably in the top 8 at that time.

Maria and Victoria will probably be sick by then or they'll tank against Niculescu and Errani. And Serena... :spit:, come on, does anyone really think she's even pondering whether to go or not'
