Since I have no idea what a kick serve looks like, I want to watch a player who has a great kick serve. So who has the best one?

You'll find the best example of a kick serve on the mens' tour.

On the WTA- look at Testud, hers is good. Lisa Raymond's is OK. Davenport's is above-average.

Sandrine has the best and the most consistent. Serena's is also very good.

as mentioned, Hantuchova and Testud are the two that first come to mind for me. Great kick serves.

I forgot about Serena and Mary...

Novotna had a goodie, too.

As for LEfty players i think Patty Schnnyder`s kick serve is awesome especially since she can do it at the deuce court or ad court

Sandrine Testud. The first time I really took note of it was at the 2000 Ericsson semis against Lindsay. Sandrine was kicking it up so high that Lindsay was making contact with the ball above her head! The commentators kept marveling at how effective that serve was and how Lindsay couldn't seem to figure out where to stand to receive it.

Nothing to do with the subject of this thread, but I could not help noticing G-Ha that you live in San Diego. So I rely on you to provide us with great comments / pictures next year for the San Diego tourney .
