Time to end it once and for all. :eek:h:

IMO they kinda all equally suck except for the Australian. Easily the best.

Cause having the thread during one of them if super fair :eek:h:

Each have their pros and cos but I have to go with the USO. Awful scheduling, by far the one that has been the most disturbed by rain the last decade, men's SFs not played on the same day and quite boring atmosphere of rude people who talk and walk in the middle of rallies and don't know much about tennis. And no covers. By far the most soulless too.

I like all of them for very different reasons. I do not like RG for the lack of good highlights, lack of good content and overall, a lack of coverage in the United States. I think they are all great in their own way. I think lifting the USO trophy in front of 23,000 fans would be the greatest of them all tho.

Most favorite to least
1. Wimbledon
2. USO
3. RG
4. AO

Nothing against AO as far as content but it's the least historical and seems the least grand of them all.

I love them all, each provides different favorites, different adventures, different atmosphere, and different fun
Why even sort them?

I like the Slams above most other tournaments.. The French Open is the worst overall.. I would rank Wimbledon as the best, although I still hate how stubborn Wimbledon is.. "Waah we don't want to play on the middle Sunday, it upsets our neighbours.." Who friggin cares about the neighbours, it is only one Sunday a year.. If they hate it so much, they can go away for the weekend or something.

That's why I love USO. Though it's rainy and very humid, it seems to be the most dramatic. The scheduling is always a shit show but at least they don't stop until the last point is played...even if it's 3 am ?

Sure is great for the player that ends up in his bed at 5.30 am and has his whole schedule fucked up for days.

Ironically enough for me, it's the one that's most accessible to watch. Don't get me wrong I like all the Grand Slams, there's absolutely nothing better in tennis then when these 4 tournaments happen, but the USO just rubs me the wrong way sometimes.

I think the crowds especially on AA stadium can be pretty bad. I don't think the tennis can be as high of quality at the other slams because like RG (for clay) it's jam packed into a few weeks of hard courts, difference being that it's deeper into the season and there's more wear and tear on the body. That is just subjective of course. But that's the feeling I get.

And Roger hasn't won there since '08
