ferrero, not sure if any women have a style of game like this. heavy spin but quite a bit of power, whippy, very physically based game (fitness fitness fitness, speed speed speed, endurance endurance endurance...) hes my idol

my game is much like Jana novotna and Time Heman.

i have confidence on my net skill. also my approaching shots almost are slice. just like Novotna. i use slice to control my opponent to stay behind the baseline. when i see the chance i will use my powerful forehand--a little top spin to hit the ball. however, i don't have so strong serve. it's just ok, but i still play a lot of serve-and-volley style. so jana novotna and time henman became my favorate players a few years ago. so sad that not many serve and volley style top players are still playing since jana novotna retired. on man side too. later who can be my idol?

I change my mind, I think I am more like Venus. I am as thin as her, yet I hit as hard, if not harder than her. My game is by no means safe, I hit flat and hard groundies, hardly consistent or safe. My serve is rather big, but I have no idea how big it really is. Of course, my second serve is nowhere as good as Venus'. I am rather fast too, but I don't have Venus' reach. Venus has a great backhand, but I think my forehand is better than my backhand, unlike Venus. I which I could have Venus' backhand....

Surprisingly, my favorite player, Monica Seles. Two handed everything! lol (except serve of course!) I can't wait for my school's season to start again. I can't wait to be on the courts again. Also, I usually blow it at net on big points (DAMN two hander!). ummm...Monica did that all last summer against Venus and Lidnsey

Yup, I'm using a Venus racket too. I stole it from her pack too. It is a racket Venus the goddess has used before, that's why it is so amazing! It's been blessed

Strangely enough I'd have to say that my game resembles that of Hingis's...a player who I have a lot of respect for, but is far from a favorite of mine. My serve is more of a set-up tool than a weapon in itself, I beat players by using a wide variety of tactics (chip-charge, serve-volley, moonballs, counter-punch...you name it) and focus upon exploiting their weaknesses. Any Martina fans know if she generally hits flat-backhand drives? If so, then it really is scary how much it resembles. But I guess it makes sense, she was #1 and I watched her heaps when I was learning to play...

Mine resembles Mary Pierce's: a lot of power, good first serve, average second serve, below average net play, and no options on a bad day...

Magnus Norman and Thomas Enqvist - Forehand! They usually play at baseline and most using forehand same as me. I had lethal forehand (with one-handed) They was few using backhand same as me.

Silvia Farina-Elia or Nathalie Tauziat - Backhand! They always using one-handed backhand at left of the court in middle IF the ball is slow If the ball is fast so, I use two-handed backhand same as umm... probadly Iroda Tulyaganova

My best shot is Forehand!

Jimmy Connors. Connors was never my fav, but I've got his all court game, right down to being a lefty, a lethal backhand, and the fatal weakness off the forehand

I even has his "fiery" character on court

Goolagong, Evert, Court, King, Wade, Barker, Graf, Navratilova, Austin, Seles, Sabatini, Martinez and now ... Lindsay Davenport!

Ever since I was a child, I have always had the ability to mimic anyones game to a tee. This always annoyed my opponents because more often than not, I could change to a style of play that could defeat them. My junior coach used to call me the Chameleon, my opponents called me something else (LOL).

Ummm

my style of play is to hit hard and flat groundies from both wings altho I can hit a good slice off the forehand side as well and fell okay coming to net and playing dropshots etc...

I actually find it more difficult to hit cross court backhands, and find hitting up the lines much easier....

One thing I can NEVER get rite is using topspin, how do you hit the ball to get topspin???

I seriously have no idea!

Oh and my serve could get a bit more punch to it, any ideas on how to do that?

So who do u guys think I play like coz I have no idea..........LOL!!

I have always tried to imitate Steffi Graf's style of play I'm a baseliner with a pretty good forehand (I think) and (slowly getter better) slice backhand. But my serve is horrible!

Mark Philippoussis.

That's what the club coach said anyway. Which was funny because I'm not as big or tall, yet there is the big booming serve and groundstrokes. Plus I'm fast and have great endurance. My net game is looking good too. It's something I've been working really hard on. Another major difference is that I've never been seriously injured, and I'm winning matches.

Maybe like Michael Chang or Arantxa Sanchez, but i have a such a great backhand and good touch a net despite being a baseliner. And for the serve i remember a lot of justine henin while serving, not too powerful but very well placed and with diferent spins on ball, flat, slice or the american twist.

I've been thinking about this, it's tough!!
Probably more like Conchita Martinez than any other, even though she's not big fav of mine. Forehand the best shot and use different spins depending on the situation.Weak single handed backhand and use mainly slice in defensive positions. Use the two handed backhand when receiving strong serves. Like Arantxa spends most of the time scrambling against better players, makes very few unforced errors, shots are generally not powerful so have to grind opponents down rather than power them off the court.
Sometimes get free points off the first serve, but both serves rely mainly on placement.
Volleys adequate but not good enough to spend much time at the net. Most of my favs are serve- volleyers, but i find this style of play difficult to emulate. Thats probably why I admire them cos i think its a lot more difficult to go to the net and take the risk of volleying rather than camp at the back and hit huge shots all day.

Demeanor: Marat Safin - talking to myself, negative, always angry, happy when win and funny in 15 min after the match is over. One difference: i don't break rackets (I would have... )

Play: Elena Dementieva - everything including going for big shots when I should be patient.
