All my family loves Monica - dad, mum, sister, aunt, uncle - almost everyone <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> My father has been a fan of Monica since the begining because we lived in Yugoslavia when she has turned pro, she is very popular there. Dad also likes Jelena Dokic, Iva Majoli, Mary Pierce, Anna K. also Gabriella Sabatini and Martina Navratilova when they played, and many more ..... <br />my sister isn't interested in tennis too much, but she's a fan of Monica and she doesn't like Hingis <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Some of my friends like Hingis, she's very popular in Czech republic, cuz she lived there for a while. Czech people call her "czech-swiss" sometimes, but i don't like that. <br />one of my best friends likes Aranxta very much. <br />and almost every boy in my school who is interested or plays tennis loves Anna K. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

all my family loves Seles as their sentimental favorite, but the Williams' Sisters rule in our house they are #1.. after the Williams' Sisters and Seles is Mary Pierce and Dokic. I really like Dokic bt not as much as the Williams' Sisters. My parents liked Capriati until this year when she began to get cocky and make arrogant comments. THey were proud when she won her Grand Slam but when she started bashing the Williams's Sisters she lost all cool points. I like Lindsay Davenport a lot and I wish that Alexandra Stevenson would get serious and improve her ranking her is my ranking of the players as I like them:<br />1. Venus & Serena Williams<br />2. I told her that Martina played well against Monica Seles in the exhibition last week and also, beat Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario this week. She told me that Martina will play Singles again within 12 months! <img src="redface.gif" border="0"> She told me that Martina's hitting hard like Venus! <img src="redface.gif" border="0"> She thinks Martina can beat Venus! <img src="redface.gif" border="0"> I was laugh at her about that! I told her that she CAN'T beat powerful players such as Monica, Lindsay and Venus. She say, "What about Arantxa?", and I told her that Arantxa played poor forms this year! She say, "Oh well... I guess you're right!".

My family and nearly everyone else I tend to hang out with are people who are not tennis fans. I ask them about the game anyway. None of hate anyone.

The only players they show interest in are the Williams Sisters. They will stop what they are doing just to see them watch. Interestingly enough, they only really know Venus' name. Hardly any one remembers Serena's name off the top of their head.

Have a Hingis doll dressed in RG infamous slam final uniform.. with many pins stuck in her head. By the way I think the dolls shoes are way too tight on her lil feet. Maybe I have my doll sue the shoe company. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Also in my friend's basement she has a poster pic of Hingis's head on her wall. She made a dart board out of it. really she did. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

My family doensn't particularly follow tennis except for my dad, and he basically likes the same players as me, but in general if there are any players that people don't like it's Martina or the Williams sisters, but if there's any player they actually do like it's them too, and Anna as well, so liking and hating by the general people just comes from the player's popularity.

Most of my friends aren't into any sports at all. <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0"> The only tennis match I recall them bothering to watch with me was the Martinez vs. Navratilova Wimbledon final.

But everyone in my family except for my mom watches tennis. We're pretty all over the board with who we like or dislike.

My dad likes Hingis.<br />My sister LOVES the Williams gals (and Venus particularly...solely, I think, because I prefer Serena!) and doesn't like Clijsters! <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> <br />My brother-in-law likes Capriati and doesn't like Hingis (for her bratty behavior), Henin (because she beat Jenny at Wimbledon) or Seles (double grunting; probably for beating Jenny a lot too). He doesn't like ASV either...but I can't remember why.

Let's just say I'm the opposite of my brother-in-law.
