Is there a list of others that have committed? I'm interested to see who else will accompany her.

Nope, she´s not committed to any other events...
I wish she 'd play Kremlin cup.. It has the weakest draw for a tier 1.

she aggravated that shoulder injury during the henin match at the us open. apparently it has become serious but that was said a day or 2 after the us open so i don't know how that is going and whether or not she will play through it.

but it would be a shame for her to get seriously injured now as she is starting to play top tennis again.

Had Jennifer won that semis match against Henin, we're not talking about shoulder injuries right now.

the question is asking where is jen and why isn't she on any commintment lists for upcoming tournaments. if she is injured she wouldn't be playing so why can't be injured being an option? my point is the reason she isn't playing may be that she is injured.

Apparently she needs 3 weeks' rest for her shoulder, so that ruled her out of Shanghai last week and will count her out until Filderstadt. Moscow comes at the wrong time for her healing (be it shoulder or US Open semi). She will not return until Filderstadt at the earliest, but I heard a rumour she might play Zurich and I did expect her to play Philly when that was put back on the tour schedule. Either way, if last year is anything to go by, I won't be holding my breath she makes major waves when she does play.

Jennifer isnt a stupid idiot you know, she wouldnt risk a comeback for one tier1 event. Shoulder injury or not she needs to recharge the empty tank shes running on fumes and needs to recharge. Period.

The early commitment lists for Leipzig, Moscow, Zurich and Linz were on their respective websites before the US Open and Jennifer wasn't on the list for any of them. I think she has decided to play it by ear. It's late in the season and there's no reason to risk making her injury worse by playing more tournaments.
