Can't remember when I first saw Gaby, it was in Wimbledon probably late 1980s or 1990.

The last Gaby match I saw live was her semis against Steffi in 1995 US open. She SO could have won

.

I saw some higlights of her win over Lindsay in the Virginia slims tournament later that year but never saw her in 1996, mainly because eurosport seemed to have some irritating reluctance to show her ever in 1996

.

Steffi whom I also quite like I first saw in the 1987 Wimbedon final against Martina. I last saw her at Wimbledon 1999.

Monica I first saw at Wimbledon 1992. I last saw her at Canadian open 2001, but don't expect that to be the last time

First time I saw Tina was in Amsterdam July 1999.

and last time...hmmm must be Leipzig 2000.

First Time I saw Kim in real life: Wimbledon 2000 against Tauziat- That was one great match!

Here's my post from the Martina Hingisforum,

I've met Marti at the Heineken Trophee in The Netherlands two years ago.I went to her training first and i asked her autograph and she was just sooooo nice and she gave me her autograph.I'm also on a picture with her!

Melanie Molitor was also really nice!She was smiling and you could see that she is really proud of Martina.

At the end of her match i yelled :Hey Martina! Because i wanted another autograph (1 was not good enough for me ) and she looked at me and waved!It was really like if she had recoignized me!And i'm sure that she also knew that i was the girl who screamed :Go Martina let's kick her ass at the beginning of the match

It was on of the best days in my life! :angel:

1st time:
Spring 1990 in the Hilton Head semis over Arantxa(?I think it was ASV?) and the finals the next day losing to the ledge Navratilova. This was an amazing match cause Jen was 14 and she played solid clay court tennis against MN. It blew me away and I knew the media was not exaggerating again.

Last:
AO '02 finals a few weeks ago.

1st time:
1975 4 woman event finals losing to Chris Evert in 3 sets. I think it was the Leggs Classic a made for tv event (those were the days!).

Last:
1982 Wimbledon. Evonne was the co-defending champ since she missed '81 due to pregnancy. She lost in the second round(?) to Zina Garrison. As much as I liked Zina it was a majora bummer.
