2 things can happen

1. she plays really well again

2. she tries to make up for all those lost weeks and overplays to regain her ranking, getting burned out again...

I'm hoping for option (1)

Back in 98 when she lost it, i didn't think she was too desperate to get it back (i think it took her 20 weeks or something (mainly cause of end of year break)) and she came back and won another slam as #2 seed.

I will be hoping for option number three, that is seeing her playing live on court again. My tickets for Munich are up for sale. There is no need for me to go, now that Martina wont be playing there.
